Wool Work Socks

Here we are again, I thought I would start posts by featuring different products we make. We had another great week at the market and are very close to reaching a new all time record in sales! One of our most popular products is our traditional work socks. Although we say "traditional" not all have the traditional colours. We make just every size imagineable and can make them in almost any possible colours. The wool is make from New Brunswick wool and the men's have the traditional 12 inch leg. The toes and heels are made from an 80/20 wool; meaning 80% wool and 20% nylon. The reason we do this is because the nylon helps to resist the wearing making your socks life last longer. As you can imagine the toes and heels wear the quickest. They so thick and warm! My husband loves to wear his all year. He says they keep his feet warm in the winter and dry in the summer. We are down to a half dozen pairs in mens sizes now, we usually sell out or come very close to it before Christmas. There is a lot of love put into these glorious socks, it takes on average about 10 hours to make one pair of mens work socks.

 



As you can see there are a wide range of colour possibilities, we also have smaller womens sizes and childrens sizes. We can also do the colours of your favourite hockey team!

After the holidays are over, and we are finished for the season I will be able to post on our etsy shop what colours and sizes we have in stock and as we get more made we will also be able to post them as well.
